Stephanie Werner edits and fact-checks every page before it ships. Claims get sources, sources get clickable links, and an automated check re-tests every external link weekly. Anything that touches suicide follows the AFSP and WHO safe messaging guidelines and carries 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. No clinician currently reviews MORTL content.

Death law changes all the time. We go back through the state guides on a schedule, and again whenever a legislature changes something, and we roll the federal tax figures every tax year. Every change that matters lands in that state’s change log and on /updates.
